The Holmdel Environmental
Commission invites you and your family and friends to participate in a
trail workday. We will meet at the far end of the parking lot at Cross Farm Park off of Longbridge
Road. Wear work gloves and boots and bring water to drink and a snack if you wish. Tools that will be helpful include brush cutting tools, large loppers, shovels, and wheelbarrows. If you can't make it at 9:30 a.m. or can't stay until 2:30, please come whenever you can. Everyone is welcome. |

Ramanessin Brook Greenway End-to-End Hike Saturday, December 1, 2007, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with ˝ day option ending at 12:30 p.m.) |

| Meet at Holmdel Park shelter building (lower parking lot). We will provide transportation to Phillips Park. We will hike the entire length of the Ramanessin Brook Greenway from Phillips Park to Cross Farm Park near the Swimming River Reservoir. We will be walking the watershed from its sources to the Reservoir. Bring a daypack with lunch and rain gear. | |

| Meet at Holmdel Park and celebrate the New Year with a leisurely walk through the Ramanessin Brook Conservation Area (formerly the Chase Property) to Bayonet Farm. Families welcome; if there is snow, bring cross-country skis, snowshoes, or wear snow boots. | |

Greenway walks to be held rain or shine. Environmental
Commission members will lead our walks. As a precaution against ticks, we recommend wearing long
pants tucked into socks. |
